I've been away a bit working.
Does anyone know of a list that shows:
Speed, # of cpu's, CPU die, L1, L2, L3, Price?
Looking for that or a recommendation on what is best bang for buck and whether to go for the Dual 1.8 now that I can finally afford it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Chin....
I just upgraded my dual 1gig to the gigadesigns dual 1.8s. price and reputation did it for me. So far, not a problem running tiger, FCPro, Motion, Cubase.
take the plunge... giga worked for me.

I have a giga dual 1.33, and it's fantastic... though the fan is noisy and dying, but I'll fix that soon.

Depends on what Mac you intend on installing the upgrade in. If I had a slow MAc (e.g. 400Mhz Sawtooth) I'd go with a 1.2GHz Gigadesigns. if my computer were ~1GHz to begin with I'd but a dual ~1.5GHz Gigadesign. You have to consider the bus speed among other things to decide how far to go. I have the Sawtooth G4 and with my 100MHz bus I doubt I would see much improvement over ~1Ghz or so.
