(The search feature hasn't worked for the past week so I'm sorry if there's already a discussion on this topic)

I have a working display taken from a Powerbook G4 Titanium and I'm wondering if anyone has information on hooking this up to another computer. I was hoping that the display controller was inside the display itself so it would need minimal effort to get to work. The goal would be to add a VGA connector to the powerbook display even if it isn't as simple as soldering a few wires.

Does anyone have or know where I could find information on this?

This is a Ti G4 from the 400/500 mhz (I'm not sure which it is) generation.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

First stage is to get the make and model of the panel. Apple sometimes used different panels in the same model Macs, so check yours specifically. Then you'll just have to find out the pinouts. Maybe you can get them from the manufacturer, or maybe you can work out the pinouts at on the powerbooks logic board. Don't waste your time asking Apple though.

I was told that every model of LCD panel has different pinouts, which ,akes life alot more difficult.
