have an old motorola starmax 4000 with 604e/200 and integrated 2 meg video....remember? it works but would like to jazz up the video a bit for use with the BOXes of older software i used with it including many games. wouldn't bother but what the hell!? its paid for!

question: aside from the old voodoo 3 pci card is there anything else i can use for video or should i just forget it?

Voodoo2. Definitely. 8 megs of scorching power. You might even be able to run DUAL voodoo2's in SLI mode.

Radeons should work too, just unsupported.

Even a Rage 128 should work okay. Not super powerful but better than most video cards of the era.

The Rage 128 is nice, but also consider the iX Micro Ultimate Rez card - that's nice. Incidentally, I have 3 systems in the Marketplace that would be nice upgrades for you! They have G3 cards, LOTS of RAM and good video cards too (well, except in the 7500)
