My PSU fan bearings seem to be on the way out, the whole thing sounds... wrong. It'll be working fine and then there'll be a sudden slight dip in volume and pitch. It's one of those sounds that you don't notice until it changes.

Anyway, given that you can't seem to get those PSU fans any more, can anyone recommend a good replacement for equivalent (or better) performance? I may remove the guard to get a better intake and although my wiring is not up to much, I have a friend who is a master electrician so there shouldn't be much of a problem there.
