I'm thinking about replacing my computer with a G Mac Or a Power Mac because I heard that Macs are better then computers, Plus I'm getting bored with my computer and just wanna try something different.

I never used a Mac before so I was wondering if someone could please recommend a Mac that would be best suited for a average PC user. I'm not a movie producer or anything like that so I can live without all the fancy mumbo jumbo movie editing add ons.

Here are the two macks that I'm thinking about buying

Power Mac

Or a I Mac G5

Any info on Macs Vs computers (Linux) or what might need to be upgraded stuff such as Ram hard drive space etc will be appreciated very much.

Well, if you're just an average PC user, then either a Mac Mini or Intel iMac would probably be best. The Mac Mini is definitely the one to buy if you're just interested in experimenting with the platform -- that's how I got hooked.

If you're bored with your current setup, just get a Mac Mini. That should spice it up a bit.
