Was this an upgrade to a dual 867MDD? If so be aware that the 867 MLB is 133MHZ bus and 1250+ are 167 bus and processor speed is a multiple of bus speed.

No, it is a G4 MDD 1.25Ghz with 800 FireWire, I put the processor on another 1.25 machine and it becme a 917Mhz. So I think the problem is on the dual processor, but i have no idea wht it might be.

When I replaced the CPU on my Sawtooth, I had to press a button on the motherboard to reset it. I'm not sure if that is needed with the MDDs, but that is something you might want to look into.

Also, it couldn't hurt to reset your PRAM.
