i bought a g4 powerbook a few months ago and was wondering if i could upgrade the processor - its 867mhz at the moment. i read somewhere that it was possible to upgrade it 1.2 gig. i wasnt sure though as its obviously harder to upgrade a powerbook than it is to upgrade a powermac/imac. if someone could help me out that would be great.

The TiBook, which ran at either 550Mhz or 667Mhz it upgradeable to 1.2Ghz. I believe that is the only upgradable powerbook G4.

The aluminum powerbooks could also be upgraded. Or are you just talking about the TiBooks?
