Is their a way to remove the decals on your keyboard on say a new MacBook; cause I just think it would be really cool to watch people try to type when they are hunters. Just an idea. Wouldn't go threw with it until keybaords stated poping up on eBay anyways.

Take a look with your eyes. They are not decals. As if Apple would use stickers for labelling their keyboard keys...

use small lable stickers and paint them the same color as the keys. or paint the keys. a funny thing would be to trip them out and switch the keys around.

I wouldn't reallycare about confusing pepole, but having a completely blank powerbook keyboard would be pretty slick looking.

The iBook's keys may not use stickers, but in a year and a half I've worn off the s, d, c, and l keys, and the n and m are on their way out. It's easy enough to scratch off if it gets going.

hahah..... if you at all play any first person shooter, you're most likely gonna have faded 'w','a','s','d' keys.... the same holds true for my Compaq keyboard

How about a little paint thinner, or coca cola for that matter. Just a little on a q-tip, then rub until it disolves.

I remember someone wrapping a carboard cylinder (from paper towels) in fine sand paper, that was for the ibook and the keys have a slight roundness to them. It worked great for them, not sure if the MacBook has that roundness to the keys. Otherwise I would used a very fine sanding pad from home depot.

I'd try a diluted paint thinner, or rubbing alcohol first. i definately would not sand the keys, it would take to long to get them perfectly smooth again.
