I have decided to go down the modding route to replace the Airport card in my 366 Clamshell. (I updated software to 2.0.4. The Hardware CD check said "Airport OK", but it doesn't receive signal from router, although MAC ID is correctly shown). Several sites give ideas for replacement cards - the best fit was the very similar Sony Vaio PCWA C150S which needed very little modding (a re-badged Airport card?) This is very difficult to get now. I have also seen these cards as possible: Wavelan silver, Orinoco Silver, Buffalo Aircard, Belkin, Linksys...My question is, which is the best fit? I don't want to buy one of each to check sizes. I guess I'll use whichever is the smallest. I also don't want to cut away parts of the Clamshell or remove heatsinks, (shown in some pictures) in case I resell it, but the card can be sacrificed to fit. If you have done a successful mod, with no bulging keyboard, what do you recommend?
