No.

But if you have problems any time after adding 3rd party memory and need to send your Mac to Apple for service, you should remove the non-Apple memory (and any other non-Apple hardware) before sending it back.

Actually you risk your warranty if you fit RAM to a Mac Mini. And the moment 3rd party RAM is risky in the Mac Pro unless its built to Apple's specifications.
