Hi I have got a 15" 700Mhz iMac G4 and it has a scratch on it's screen, there are no dead pixels or anything it is just anoying. I figured I could just find a used one but all I have found at an affordable price is a 17" with the bezel & articulating arm. I was wondering if the wires were the same and if the 700Mhz iMac would be able to drive it as I think it would make it a unique and cool upgrade.

Thank You in advance

It should be able to drive it just fine, the 700 and 800MHz iMac G4s had the same exact graphics cards. I would also expect the wires to match up fine.

The only problem I can think of is resolution... the 15 inch is 1024x768, the 17 inch is 1440x900. However the 17" supports 1024x768.
