Greeting

The other day I was feeling like exploring my iMac a little. It's almost been a year (Coming December), and I was curious about upgrading etc that I could do myself (perhaps when the warranty is up).

Anyhow, on the front, the 'sleeping' light. I noticed a thin film covering it on the casing itself, I was thinking of purchasing a coloured piece of plastic and layering this to credit a different colour glow. Just wondering if anyone has advice against this.

Second, the apple logo on the front. Some said it was the 'IR' receiver. Fortunately, the actual sensor seems to be on the inside, so I wanted to swap the Apple logo.

Thanks for any suggestions/comment

You could do the sleep light, but I think the sensor is on the left of the iMac.
