I was just think...

is it possible to take a 15" pb's illuminated keyboard and install it into a 12" PB so that you could have an illuminated 12"pb keyboard?

you just cant major heat issues will arise with the installation of a backlight keyboard on a 12" powerbook. Think about it

I was looking on eBay a while ago and saw a backlit keyboard for a 12" PB for sale.

Major heat issues?

It's not like the light in the backlight keyboards is a 60W incandescent.

The keyboard doesn't get hot at all. It just, as established, lacks the connections to light up. It won't fit quite the same either.
