I just bought an empty G4 Cube case from a member here, and I was thinking of doing the classic Aquarium mod to it (with a few extra touches of my own), but before I get into that, I was wondering if anyone knew anything else that could be done, other than the aquarium and the obvious of putting new Cube parts in and making it a functioning Cube again?

I'm actually looking for something relatively inexpensive. I don't really have much money to put into a project like this.

I was going to create an iPod dock/speaker set/fishtank with moved outputs but bottled it and sold my cube in the end... I still want to create a custom iPod dock though, something involving an oversized Qees figure or something?!?!

My two cents is to be wacky with it..!

I have an old cube case sitting on my desk at work. The tabs on the inside of the case are just the right size to hold a square tissue box. You can have the most expensive tissue box in town!

Oh, I totally plan to make it awesome. If I go with the fishtank, I plan on getting some LEDs from work and wiring them underneath it to light the tank, and maybe try to work in something else small underneath to make it even more useful, like a small hard drive. I actually thought of turning the case into a dock/speaker set, since I have a docking station with remote that for some reason no one wants to buy, but I'm not sure exactly how it would work.

Haha, no thanks, I'd rather not have a $40 tissue box
