i would like to paint my ibook and I do not want to take it apart. What kind of paint should I use and has this been done?

Depends on what iBook you have. Not sure about the original coloured rubber iBook, but some of the white iBooks can be painted. The plastics on some were clear plastic with the inside surface painted white, some had solid white plastic casings. With a painted one, you can get rid of the white paint and repaint the plastic.Search this forum for something like 'paint iBook' and you should get a few threads to help you. If you don't want to take it apart and want to paint it, not so sure, maybe try some laptop decals from decalgirl.com or something.
