15" Aluminum Powerbook 1.5 ghz

What is the maximum hard drive I can install in this unit??
Otherworld computing sells Toshiba drives as big as 160 gig.
I recently replaced a failed drive in this unit with a Seagate 120 gig but it only recognizes 111.8 gigs.
I formated the drive using Tigers disc utility.
Anyone know why it's not seeing the full 120 gig???

Thanks!!

It is seeing the full 120GB. The problem is simply that for HD manufacturers, GB = 1 billion bytes, whereas for software manufacturers, GB = 2^30 bytes.

The largest drive available for your system is 160GB (ie the largest shipping 2.5" ATA drive), but the system will record it as being only about 147GB.
