My mom passed down her dead iMac G4, my task is to pull the hard drive and recover the data and then it's mine.

I was thinking of trying to turn it into a digital picture frame. I'm pretty sure the only issue with it is a dead power supply. Instead of getting a replacement power supply I want to get one that might fit the form factor of a deep picture frame better.

Are there resources that detail the power draw by the motherboard along with pinouts and all that fun stuff?

Has anyone done anything like this before?
