New Mac User with Upgrade Questions

Hi to all. I am an PC user wanting to switch to the mac for my Desktop and Laptop.
My problem is that since I don't want to pay the extremly high cost of Ram from Apple and I want to upgrade the memory on both, I am affraid that it would violate the extended warentee on each of them.


Any suggestions.

Go ahead and upgrade... it doesn't void the warranty unless you break something.
Apple's memory prices are crazy, and everybody knows it; $700 upgrades for $100 worth of RAM.

Now I will just wait another week or so to see if Apple releases any new Mac's for the holiday shopping season.
