I'm thinking about replacing my PowerBook's little 60GB drive. Anyone ever do this themselves? I found this and it doesn't look too hard.

It's a piece of cake as long as have one of the Apple Repair Technician guides for cracking open the case, and know what kind of replacement HD to buy. I've replaced two PB HDs this way without a hitch.

You can get the guides fairly easily by Googling fo rthem.
