Hi,

I have in my possession the case of an old SE 30. The guts are ripped out, as I was planning to turn it into a Macquarium, then the idea kinda faded. Does anyone have any idea what else I could turn it into?

Awhile ago, someone was planning on using the case of an old compact as a RAID tower. I also know of someone who was planning on making a speaker case out of an old Classic.

you could make it into a hamster cage, or put in a little TV screen and get one of those adapters and then use it in the car. There's about a million things you could do.

Sure. As long as you shove in a couple of G4 chips, somehow squeeze in a Cinema Display, then mail it back to me.

If you had two SE cases they would make great high tech shoes.

IEEE1394, was the motherboard working in that SE/30? If so, I'd sure be interested in it if you have no further use for it.

Well, I have a pair of SE's and an SE/30. The SE/30 will eventually be returned to service as a terminal/Lode Runner station, etc. Maybe a firewall.

The SE's are a stool in front of my gaming PC and a bookend.
The SE is real easy to sit on, has a built in handle, all that. If you've taken al the internals out it's even light (which mine is not).

I read somewhere about turning an old color classic (or se) into a G4. You use a Cube motherboard etc.

So if you have lots of cash to burn, hey, go for it!

check out AppleFritter. Someone put a G4 cube's guts into a Color Classic. Pretty weird.
