I'm having what I can only assume are "click of death" problems with the stock internal ATAPI zip 100 in my beige (rev. A) G3. (It's clicking like crazy, and my wife's data seems to be getting corrupted.)
Anywho, I know Iomega is giving a little bit of cash for anyone who wants to get a replacement drive (which I do), but I need to know—can I just pick up any old ATAPI zip 100 (or 250, for that matter), or does it have to be specifically designed for a Mac? (The stock zip actually has the Apple logo on it.)

Yep. any old IDE zip drive will do. I got a Panasonic one cos it was the cheapest. One word of warning about the 250 drives, using the 100MB disks in them is SSSSLLLOOOOOWWWWW, if you don't need to access the 250 disks get one of the (cheaper) 100mb drives.
