Does anyone have any information/experience about overclocking a revision a iBook? I found
this page, but before I proceed, I'd like a bit more information.</STRONG>
Yes, I overclocked a friends 300Mhz iBook to 400MHz. I used the page you list above (Tak's Mystic Page) to set the jumpers. However, tearing down the iBook is a royal pain in the a$$. There are around 3 dozen screws of various sizes - even delicate copper tape and tin foil. It helps to reference one of the iBook hard drive swap sites. I used this site because they clearly indicate where each fastener is located with photos:

BTW, be sure to check when assembling the iBook cover(LCD). Before securing the 2 large anchor screws, turn it over and check the hinge. There are 2 plastic tabs I missed the 1st time. If they're not seated, the cover won't close properly. Yeah - I missed it the 1st time and had to tear the damn thing apart again

I did the 400Mhz clock up about 2 months ago and no problems so far. Good luck.......joe
PS, soldering those tiny jumper resistors is a *VERY* delicate job. It's easy to lift a pad or trace ir you accidentally apply too much heat or pressure. It helps to use a mag lens. If you're not use to this kind of close up work, you might want to consider paying someone to do it. Sorry if this is unwarranted. But the consequences can be severe.
