I took these pics, they look very bright, as I used a DV camera and it doesn't take good still... looks to 'pink', but it's really dark red/purple-y

i had a lightbulb in one of my aftermarket gauges in my 'stang, and the bulb came with little plastic covers that would change the color of the light it produced.. I opened up the little box that houses the power button deal, and just inserted the plastic bulb cover into the hollow portion of the power button.. closed it back up, and voila.. a red power button.. anyone know if i can get a brighter light(led, i think) for the power button light? it would make it more red, but since it's now red and not white, it's not obtrusively bright..

and it looks cooool when it sleeps

Hehe, cool. You should also check out the blue LEDs. They're almost neonish.
