Will a dual 450 daughterboard out of an old powermac g4 work on the motherboards for the new powermac g4s?

Hm... diff bus/mobo speeds... the multipliers... hm...
Interesting, I think you'd have problems with the multiplier settings etc due to the 133MHz etc.

well, I think that the bus timeings might be controled via the daughter card.

I don't think they changed the connector. If so, the only snag is the bus speed. You should start with the multiplier setting changed to 3(399) or 3.5(466) vs. the stock setting of 4.5. You might be able to run with 4x(533)
Bus speed settings on the DP gigabit I have are on the MoBo, but cache and processor settings are on the daughter card.
You have the potential to double your power if you start with a single 533.
Be advised, the soldering is a bitch. Best done under a microscope, but reading glasses work.
There are pictures on xlr8yourmac.com showing the bus resistors/pads. A simple solder blob makes a good jumper, just a binary address block.
