Are there anyone who have managed to put another IDE HD as "slave" on the internal ATA bus? Since it can be done on a
PC, but there you would configure it in the setup, would it not be possible on the mac somehow?
I've tried it, but it seems like the "master" is blocking the "slave" on the same bus. Where is the limitation? Is it the IDE
bus on the Mac?

I, as well as many many other people have done it. If your machine is a rev A, it will not be able to accept slave drives, only rev B and C machine will. Check out http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/G3-ZONE/ for a TON of information.
