OK, so the 300Mhz is now running at a smooth 400Mhz, those SMD's are pesky li'l buggers ...but i got em (2 of 'em) moved in about 1/2 an hour. It runs warmer, but not extreme, certainly nothing noticeable even with it on my lap. Greatly satisfied with the results...
So thats:
1: 6Gig H/D upped to 20Gig
2: 64Mg PC100 Sodimm added to make 128Mg (why does anyone buy mac memory?? sheesh!!
3: "Sinebook" sheilding modification completed, my ibook turns heads =) (search for the "sinebook" posting(s)) ...Thx Sine !!!
4: 300 - 400Mhz overclock completed (approx 3-4 hrs total, took a while so i could document it all).

Next: Add firewire port... =)
Can anyone think of anything else i can mod??? *S*

Eric the Fen

P.S. No point in asking all the details on "how to do it", all the posts are out there so go start cookin' y'all !! At present i'm between jobs, so my time is fairly limited, when i get some more time, i'll help where i can ... (anyone know of any good jobs going?? btw, i'm in Singapore, but can travel) =)
