I would like to change my DVD player in my B/W G3 with a CD R/RW. I have seen lots for sale for PC's and would like to know how to find out if Apple's CD extension supports them.

get one of the toshiba dvd/cd-rw combo drives, they're cheap & you keep dvd.

Will the Toshiba SD-R1002 fit in a G4 case and will it work with apple's CD/DVD extension?
