I've got a Dual 500 with a DVD-RAM drive, and I'd like to know if I could replace it with one of Apple's Superdrives and have iDVD or iDVD 2 work with it. has onyone done this...or at least have an idea of whether or not it will work?

yes, this will work.

You can get the superdrive for $460 from Jazztechnology.com

replace your dvd-ram with it, and it will work with idvd and dvd studio pro, no problem.
