The new iBook has both VGA and video out, and the same video chipset as PBG4, yet iBook has only viseo mirroring and PBG4 has spanning. Could this be a simple matter of a video driver or firmware hack???

I realize no one has a new IceBook yet but what do some of the techies think abou the possibility of such a mod?
Apple: bumping prices, not specs.
