Anyone know of a hack that will let you use 512MB PC-whatever DIMMs in a Rev. A (beige) G3 or a Yikes! G4? Someone suggested my friend get a 512, and her Yikes! can only see 256 of it. I figured I’d trade her my 128 and 256 for it, but my Rev. A has the same issue.
(Yes, I know it’s a limitation of the mobo; I’m just looking for a workaround.)

Thanks!

As I've come to understand, the beige G3 and B&W G3/Yikes motherboards only take 16x4 density RAM. All 512MB RAM is 32x4 so it won't work.
