Is there any information anywehre about modifying PC (at/atx) power supplies to work with Macs. Biege Macs. All the differnet generations.
I'm thinking two things, one is running like 4 or 5 old 68K's of a single powersupply, thereby wasting less power and creating less heat. Also, there are 12V DC PC powersupplies. I could use that in my car!

i think this is a good idea. Although, adapting the atx to the odd monitor plugs of the old machines might be hard. I think it would be best for newer machines, to replace bad powersupplies, or just get a more efficient/quieter/cooler/smaller/etc supply.

macs do have odd voltage needs though
