There's an article at xlr8yourmac about a guy who made his iBook 600/100 instead of the stock 500/66.

Read and enjoy.

I went through Tycho's mod information yesterday and decided to try it out for myself. I've OC'd just about everything I own (Mac's, PC's, PDA's).

At 600/350 @ 100MHz I was only able to get the iBook to post and get to the first extension as it booted.

At 550/400 @100MHz I was able to get it to post and get almost to the end of the extensions.

Finally 500/400 @100MHz was stable ( so far - I've been playing Unreal for an hour with no problems)

I did notice in going through Tycho's mod that his PPC750CX is different from mine. Below is an image of both our chips. I wonder if this has something to do with my not being able to hit 600/350 ?
