I've been looking around the net for any info that might show how to take my beautiful 10" TFT from my dead 180c and make it into a regular display. Anyone have any idea on how I might go about doing that?

Here's the info I have so far:

"The LCD controller chip set consists of a Western Digital WD90C26A controller and an Apple custom ASIC named Pangola that translates signals between the WD90C26A and the 68030 bus. Pangola also handles the frame buffer conversion necessary to support 1-, 2-, and 4-bit color modes with the Western Digital controller. " -- from the Apple Developer notes

Does this mean that only a Mac with special chips can use this TFT?? or could it be re-purposed? Any help is much appreciated.

I wouldn't say it's absolutely impossible. Almost anything can be done with enough money. I don't think that all the time, money, and research it would take would be worth it.
