I got my Dual 1GHz today! =)
But having used a cube for a long time the noice level the Dual creates is on the edge of beeing to loud for me - There is no way I ever onna be able to sleep with it on though.

So, have anyone modified it, swoped fans or in some otherway been able to lower the noicelevel from it? I'm thinking of order some silent fans and see if it helps.

I'm open for other tips and ideas as well.

Just put it to sleep. That makes it pretty quiet I believe.

To tell you the truth, although the Cube is supposed to be quiet, mine is pretty damn loud. Occasionally I'll hear it rev up like a race car before it quiets down again.

lol, quite what?

make another case for it - put the g4 case in another case. It really makes a difference. make sure it has ventilation though. you might even concider putting a whisper quiet, slow fan inside the extra case. It cut's high pitched hard drive noise + whiny fan noise. The ones I've seen (haven't made one yet) lets out only a slight blowing noise.

I'll trade you my 16db g4 450 for your 40db g4 1ghz
