I've got a question . My iMac (revision C, 333mhz) can hold 256mb of ram, it has 32mb in a slot that is not accessible to me, and another slot above it. My question is this, if I put a 256mb chip in the upper slot, will the computer work, and simply not recognize the extra ram over 256mb? Or will it not work? Thanks.

I already responded to your duplicate post in the iMac forum. It will recognize all 288MB.
