I have swapped my DVD drive for a Samsung CDR/W drive but it doesn't seem to work?
In the 'Apple System Profiler' it reports it as "CD-RW (Apple disc burning:Supported)" but if i put a blank CD in it asks to initilise it then opens the disk tools app and nothing else happens. When I click the Burn CD icon in iTunes it says "CD burner or software not found"
So, do i have to do something to get the OS to recognize the drive, or is my drive unsupported, despite the fact that Samsung drives are reported as supported on Apples site?
