very very nice!

I wonder if you could have managed to package it so that it was a little slicker.

More importantly, I wonder if you could have hacked together a touchscreen for it- There is touchscreen film available, four-conductor style, and with the right connection instead of the trackpad, you might have something there!

It was a lot lighter, but still a little bulky to hold with one hand. A stylus would have been ideal, with handwriting recognition a must. I thought seriously about making a stand for it and hooking it us to a USB keyboard/mouse permanantly as a desktop, but I already have a G4. I certainly don't recommend taking apart the iBook unless you can accept the loss of the system. My iBook wouldn't boot for a few days after it was reassembled, until a technician looked at it and repaired it. God bless him, I thought it had a blown MOBO and I think it goes without saying that this iBook no longer has warranty.

A word of warning. It's often not a good idea to call other people idiots, especially if you're going to make a grammatical error by not using an apostrophe.

Purty nifty! Good Job! A stylus, yes, would be spiffy.

Fitting it into one's pocket would be key, so shrinking it would be the idea. But, other than that, I like the idea. They would outsell any stupid-@$$ handheld PC anyday.

BTW, isn't EnglishBoy "Captain Obvious" or what? I'm glad that he can finally use his eyes.

With a USB keyboard/mouse, fold out stand, and the (obvious) processor upgrade, we could be looking at the new iMac. I know I'd get one. Or at least want one reeeeally badly. Good work!
