Hey people have put iMacs in 6100 cases before right? (Centris 610's as well). Are there any directions around anywhere on how do to this? Im kinda interested.

Great Idea, thought about that before as the 6100 was probably one of the most beautiful Macs...(looks kinda like an Amiga...)
I haven't tried to build it in, but I don't think that it is much of a problem....

Which iMac are you talking about? The tray load or the slot load? The biggest problem I can see is the power supply choice. I think it may be easiest to use the iMac's, but I don't know how large it is so it may or may not fit. If it's a tray load, do you plan to use the factory (notebook style) drive? And if it's slot load, I would try to find a flat center bezel and cut a slot into it for the drive. It would look a lot cleaner that way. And what are you going to do with the floppy dire slot? If it's a tray load it's possible to solder a standard (20 pin?) floppy connector onto the motherboad and use an interal style floppy drive.
And do you have just the 6100 case, or do you also have all the innards from it to? I may be interested in some of them, depending on what parts they are, if you no longer need them.

I know a guy from nantucket, and well lets just say the stories about him are greatly exaggerated.

I did this, but I didn't make up any instructions for it-
basically, using my atx->iMac adapter, mount an ATX 1U supply in place of the regular apple supply. make sure the power switch and jack are accessible from the back of the machine.
place the motherboard so that the ports line up on the back of the machine. mark the profile of the ports and take the motherboard out. cut out the holes for the ports.
mount the motherboard.
mount the hard drive in it's regular place.
Mount the cdrom in the place where the full size cd drive would go. one way to do this is make a hole in the blank plate to all the drive to poke through. the other is to put a hinge on blank plate and let the drive push the door down when it opens, similar to the drive in the new iMac.
use the power switch board and wiring, as well as speakers from the iMac. Change the centris power switch for a temporary on model. solder leads from the iMac power switch to the centris switch.
Done.
Note, I have only done this with tray-loading iMacs.
