Using a PowerBook G3 with a PowerLogix G4/500 accelerator the fan is much to busy. To reduce the noise I am thinking of changing the fan for a softer one. Any experiance, suggestions?

Beside that I am thinking of changeing the temperature the fan starts working. Under windows (sorry), you can do this within the bios. How do I do it running MacOS 10.1.4?

You can't adjust the tempature setting, that setting is stored in the firmware. (only way to change it is a new firmware update)
