Hi there ...

I am having big trouble ... my dad just became smarter ... he can sense that the computer is on through the sound came out from the "noisy fan" ... OK ... I let it sleep ... no sound came out ... He saw the status light glowing ...

Anyway to hack the status light ti make it unlightable? By the way ... is there any way to turn the fan inside to piece of quite without influencing my G4's life and the performance ...at least not too noticeable ... If possible ... as quite as the Cube? ... I know the cube is fanless it had a hole in the centre ... possible to do the same on my G4? nuh ... ... OK just hoping for the status light hack and the fan-noise reducing hack ...

Thanks in Advance!

Best regards from,
pmg4lktan

Yeah, I get the "Why is the computer on?" complaints too. Simple fix: put something in front of the LED.

This is very simple on an (old) iMac, on a G4 you might have to hack some tape or something.

My name's ...uh... it's a bummer man.
