I desperately need this cable for a powerbook g4: 590-4046

It's the cable that runs between the LCD and motherboard.

pbparts.com has been unable to help, and apple refuses as well.... anyone?

Never seen the insides of a G4 TI-PB, but is the cable detachable from the LCD to MB? Pehaps can locate one if it were like this...Let me know if this is the case, if it is, perhap can get this part from my Apple Service center here in Taiwan....

Run it over with the car did we? But in all seriousness, thats an odd part to have break, especially in such a new machine. Normally, it would take a few years of constant opening and closing the lcd to cause a malfunction. Are you sure thats the problem? Anyway, check nexcomp.com, icni.com, or macresq.com, one of them may have it, though it will inevitably be hard to find, due to the fact that the TI is still a relatively new.
