I read this <a href="http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/systems/internal_firewire_usb_hub/internal_firewire_usb_hub.html" target="_blank">article on XLR8YourMac.com</a> about doing this, but it doesn't sound too promising.

I, along with the people who are mentioned in the article, cannot be the only ones interested in adding front panel USB & FireWire ports. Has anyone else done this? If so, how, what product did you use, and how is it working out?

if you only want one or two ports, check out <a href="http://www.frontx.com" target="_blank">www.frontx.com</a> . You can DIY it with an existing bezel.
