I want to overclock my iBook. However, I don't have the know-how to do it.

Anyone out there who's done it a couple of times before want to do it? Not for free of course. Just wondering if there's anyone who wants to.

Same here, except that I am a poor college student that can't afford too much. Oh and you can't break the computer because I really really need it.

Well, Stan and I have done 5 machines, with a 100% survival rate. However, I don't think we'd be comfortable doing it unless the owner was present. There's always a chance of serious damage to the logic board.

You can find any electronics hobbyist or repair shop in your town and they will be able to do it. Give them the instructions from our page, and see if they think it would be possible.

If we did it, anyone can...

I'm located in Claremont, California, home of the Claremont Colleges. Yup. It's in SoCal, LA Area, near Pomona.

I know where it is. I'm in Pasadena about 35 Miles. The only problem is... I feel somewhat nervous about opening up someone elses ibook, I mean if I busted it I'd feel bad for ever. What kind of finatual compensation are we talking about?
