How hard would it be to transfer an iBook (dualUSB) Combo drive to another iBook (dualUSB). I just got a 700 iBook for my primary use and am putting my iBook 500 Combo for office use only. I don't need the combo, so I want to transfer the combo drive to my sister-in-law's iBook DVD.

Is it hard to do? Are there any directions for doing this out there?

Thanks in advance....

Pretty easy to do.. there are only 2 screws holding in the drive, so just remove them and swap the drives. There are case opening instructions at this page.

Good luck!
