I didn't want to cross-post, so I'm taking a change here, even if this is a little on side of this forum.

I've been working with an asset management system in FileMaker for some time, and would like to pair every Mac model off with the correct processor. Just noting "G3" or "G4" for processor model is anoyingly imprecise.

A while ago I got help from Mike of xlr8yourmac with a clever little utility called PPChecker. This had one major drawback, however; I could only check out systems I had physical access to.

Does anyone have or knowe where to find a model/cpu matrix for G3 and G4 Macs?

I'd be exceedingly gratefull!
