After the WWDC I was drooling over the prospect of getting OSX. Then it hit me. The iMac Game Wizard uses two extensions: Game Wizard MacGlide and Game Wizard RAVE. Since OSX is eliminating extensions, I realized that I may be I deep trouble. I don't want to give up my Voodoo2 (the RageIIC really sucks). Does anyone know if these extensions are absolutely necessary or will there be a workaround for my problem? OR when OSX comes out next year, should I buy a G4MP with a Radeon? : ) We all can dream, can't we.

Hey, don't tell me that ATI's cards don't require any extensions; they all do. Obviously for OS X, there will be some type of system level driver support and developers will build drivers for OS X making all your cards work... Just wait and see what happens rather than jumping to conclusions, Apple isn't stupid, they know what is to be done...

At the same time, though, Apple may not add support for Mez cards... sort like, "I told you so!" to developers who went against what Apple told them and made Mez cards anyway.

Now who can you be mad at... Apple for not adding support for a device that was never support, or the company that made the card? Me thinks the company that made the card... pity they're out of business.

Don't worry. Just run all your games in Classic.app, a 'classic' environment built in MacOS X that allows you to run MacOS 9.
