Ok, according to the PDF file about iMacs, it says that Rev A CDROMS are NOT interchangeable with Rev D, or damage will result. I've been using my green buttoned (rev D) CD ROM on my rev A motherboard for a while not. WTF? Was that all a joke? Or what? My cd rom doesnt read certain CDs every now and then, but... I figured it was just always gimp.

I couldn't see any probs!!? + wat do the Rev D and A drives say : same model number?? If so they'd be fine, otherwise I woulda thought they still be ok unless something was v. strange

Basically, Rev A Cdroms are Rev A only. I dont know why... but I've been breaking that rule for a while and nothing has happened..yet....
So, Rev B-D is all the same (cept for the little colored button, which you can change, nut you need a REALLY tiny screwdriver....
