i don't think this is the best place to ask this but anyways...

does anyone know what software i can use to save my dvd-rom's firmware to disk and upload it again (after playing with it a bit)?

I would settle for software to save/load my G4 firmware. Firmware updates seem to sometimes lead to problems, and I would not mind having the option to go back.

i'm attempting to make the drive region free. i have a firmware upgrade to do this but i would at least like to back mine up before attempting it.
