Ok, this got started somewhere else, I just decided it would make a neat thread.

When taking them apart, I noticed some differences...

Obviously:
Rage II in rev A
Rage Pro in rev D
Mezzanine in Rev A
Solder pads in rev D (for mezzanine)

Also, they changed the ethernet card from Crystal to something else (forgot already)

There were a few other things that were changed too (minor things.. like different chips, but same exact place and traces)

Anyone know of any others?

I got a Crystal in my rev D.
Also don't forget the IrDA connector, which can be soldered on the rev C/D as well. You might use this as a serial port (read my other thread). But I need more info on this. Perhaps someone could check the connections on the iPort.

I thought the Rev. D was the current crop of iMacs, or is that Rev. E?

If D is the current set, then it would have a Rage 128 video set.
