Does anyone know where to get the large Apple logo from the back of the newer Powerbooks (short of buying a Powerbook, that is)?

Thanks!

You can get one by simply following these 3 steps:

1. Get a hot glue gun ready.
2. Buy some duct tape and a little twine.
3. Buy a PowerBook.

Oh wait, that defeats the purpose of your post. Well, I guess you could hire the A team to make a tank out of the hot glue gun, tape and twine you already have out. Hope this helps you

Lets get someone to mold new ones....

Anyone seen the frozen Newton?

If they can re-engineer that, then an Apple logo is easy!

Right, I was wanting to put the logo on the case of a different computer with a backlight behind it. I wonder if it's possible to purchase one from an Apple Authorized Service center.

Well,
If you are so inclined,
the part that has the logo in it (the top display part)
You would need part: 922-3819 (Display Housing)

But it might cost a pretty penny.
